Matsuura first steps into the world market began in 1975 when its groundbreaking vertical the MC-1000 was launched in the USA. Based on this product success, the company have extended their exporting activities to Europe and Asia-Oceania and now covers 31 countries with more than 19000 machine installations in the world.
• The headquarters and main production facilities of Matsuura Machinery Corporation are located in Fukui City, approximately 500 km West of Tokyo on the coast of the Sea of Japan, with an additional production plant (IMN Co, Ltd.) in near by Echizen City. The group companies consist of six subsidiaries located in Germany (Matsuura Europe GmbH & Matsuura Machinery GmbH), the U.K. (Matsuura Machinery Ltd.), Canada (Elliott Matsuura Canada Inc.), Taiwan (Matsuura Machinery Taiwan Co., Ltd.) and the USA (Matsuura Machinery USA Inc.).
Total 500 people are employed in Matsuura and its group companies.
• In 2011, Matsuura has opened a representative office in Shanghai.
